The brake lights are separated in the turn signal switch so they can flash , check at the bottom of the column to see if you have power there , if not the problem is in the TS switch

If ti was adjusted to original specs it is the problem as that was for Bias ply tires , it needs to be set as I suggested to custom specs not factory .

The 74 usually had a carbon canister for emissions & the shroud probably made clearance for that so the 73 will fit but you probably need to remove the carbon canister .
