The ABS sensor wheel I got from Hotwire was VERY easy to install. I bolted it in with the driveshaft off the output of the trans. Was fairly easy to bend up a couple backets to mount the sensors off the back of trans output housing, also.
BTW, I'm running 285/35R18's on the back.
I'm running 3.55's but think 3.23's or 2.92's would be better. Couldn't imagine running lower, I wouldn't be able to do anything but idle away from lights. 1/4 throttle now spins the tires.
Buckminster, something to consider with your rear gear ratio is 1st gear ratio. I have a 6.1L with the NAG1 in my 74 Challenger. I have 3.55's in the 8.8 rearend. I seriously would consider a bit higher gear, as taking off from a light, it very easily spun the tires. Before I supercharged it, I...
I mounted all 5(?) modules on the passenger inside firewall. Was able to fit them all up there next to the Vintage Air box. May or may not fit if you're using stock hvac box.
I installed a 6.1 and NAG1 in my 74 Chally using the Hotwire harness. They sell(or it comes with, I don't remember) a reluctor ring that mounts to the output yoke of the transmission. They also provided the 2 necessary abs sensors, you just have to figure out a mount for them. Wasn't very...
I'm running the NAG1 behind my 6.1L in my '74 Challenger, and didn't have to do a new floor. I cut down the dipstick tube and installed an access plate for checking fluid. Other than that, it fit fine. Although there also was a couple unnecessary pieces of aluminum I shaved off the case, too.
So, I assume cars on that site have reserves, but I didn't see anything on the auctions I looked at as to whether they had reached reserve or not. Anyone know how that works?
Also curious, did the a/c compressor come with the VA set-up, or is it a stock Dodge unit? Doesn't look like there's a whole lot of room where it mounts in relation to the MF motor mount on mine.
