Tore this 71 gran coupe (318) apart in 2016. Didn't get any pics when I tore it apart, although got everything bagged and tagged. Any pics, or help with carb hoses would be great. Getting really close to firing it up.
71 barracuda 318 automatic, shift on the steering column. Does anyone have pictures or diagram of the correct way these parts all go together? Got the new plastic bushings, and installed. Having trouble finding out where the other 3 go correctly.
Now that I figured out the spring goes on the gas pedal, and why I left an allen wrench makes sense. The allen wrench is to remove pin on the pedal. Now the question is how it is put back correctly? And if anyone knows where the black round rubber goes?
Made some progress today. Had this spring in a bag with allen wrench and the brake pedal parts. Just don't remember where it goes? Gas Pedal? Been 7 years, and getting older. Lol
Inside the door handle is rubber stoppers. They are dry rotted. Been looking for them for awhile now. They don't come in the rubber sets. If anyone has 2, or know where to get them?
Bought this cable new, and turns out it is not correct for a 318. Probably for a large block. Could not locate the receipt. My lose your gain. $50 plus shipping.
Finally got some needed parts in, and back to putting the gran coupe back together. Got a couple of 1 inch pins, have no clue what they came out of? I believe somewhere in the front steering? Does anybody know???
Had this master cylinder rebuilt. The C-Clip seems to be too short?? Afraid it would pop out if too much pressure. Measured opening at 1 inch, and a quarter. (1 1/4"). Does anyone know what the correct C-Clip would be??
