Borla XR1 in the back?

Im in the process of overhauling a 1971 Challenger, 440 with an efi 6pack. Before I start the install of of the fuel injection id like to get my exhaust squared away with a new 2.5in manifold back system. Im thinking TTI, with an H pipe but instead of the dynomax mufflers under the car, I was thinking about mounting a set of round mufflers, like Borla XR1 or the Magnaflow 7in round, at the back to give a more stock appearing look. A friend of mine had a 340Cuda with the stock mufflers and no resonators that sounded pretty good but those would be too small for my car. Has anyone heard, or seen this done? I feel like I cant be the first person to think of this but scouring youtube and this forum, so far, hasent yielded any videos or discussions.
