Also IIRC regarding the interlock, there are two small slots/notches on the underside of the housing and collar that need to be aligned to remove the key. The collar can be rotated to the right position.
I recently installed mass-backed ACC loop style in my Challenger. The backing adds insulation and is molded it fit in the floor pan. Looks great. RockAuto has good prices. I also used Dynamat for sound deadening and insulation. I’m happy with the results.
Turned out to be a bad turn signal flasher. Much easier to access than I thought.
Both flashers are two-pronged, however the emergency flasher has three wires on the plug, two going to one lug.
Turn signals stopped working today after many years of trouble free operation. Four-way flashers, brake lights, everything else works. With key on I’ve got 12v on both sides of the radio fuse, 12v coming into the red feed wire at the turn signal switch harness. I couldn’t test the radio harness...
@Cuda Hunter no good pics readily available, they are buried in the computer. The column shift and bench seat were ditched to accommodate a Tremec TKX. Sorry purists, rare does not always equate to desirable IMO 😀. I did keep the V02 two-tone paint scheme however.
I test fit the starter on the engine before installing it in the car so I never tried to start it in that state. I could see it was not sitting flat on the bellhousing. I put some thin tape on the block and mocked up the starter wiggling it around after it was loosely bolted up to see witness...
I recently installed a parts store mini starter on a 440 with a 10.5" clutch and had to grind a bit of material off the block with a Dremel tool so that the starter would sit completely flat. I also used a terminal relocation kit to make it work.
