    Rear frame rail patches

Yup that’s what I’m doing. Based on the way the ones on thr car look, I can’t do any worse lol.

    Rear frame rail patches

Good to know. That was my plan. Lots of measurement and test fit before fully welding it in. Ordered the pieces yesterday. I’m going to try to weld it myself but I’m brand new so might have my buddy handle anything that isn’t a spot/plug weld.

    Rear frame rail patches

Yeah I’m not too worried about the install, more so fitment and quality of the pieces for sale. I appreciate the tip though. I have lizard skin in the trunk that I’ll have to grind out, which sucks, but it is what it is.

    Rear frame rail patches

My car was resto’d last year…everything but the frame rails. Fronts were ok and we patched them. Rears were “ok” but not great, but after the trunk pan was put in the guy didn’t do a great job with the spot welding to where I can squeeze the rail in a spot or two and it flexes because it isn’t...

So...it took until about midnight the night before Carlisle but we made it. Car isn't completely done, but done enough that we were able to take it down and enjoy it. I have a lot of things I want to clean up and some things that need worked out, but it was so satisfying to fire it up and...

    Rear bowl(front brakes) overflowing

So I finally got my rebuild out on the road for some test driving. Noticed fluid leaking from master. Rear bowl for the front brakes is overflowing with fluid and leaking, the front bowl for the rear brakes was damn near to the bottom. I'm going to the parts store to grab a new master...but...

    72 Cuda Restomod

Thank you. It has definitely helped ease the pain and gave me something to stay occupied with. Had it out on the road last week for the first time, then again today after fixing a bunch of stuff we found. I'll update the thread probably next week after Carlisle. The car will be there...

Pitman/steering link. Need a sanity check

Yes. That’s why I figured I was good minus the boot.

Pitman/steering link. Need a sanity check

Hmm ok. I’ll check that. Thx. Your spacing looks identical to mine but I will drop the bar and measure for a taper.
