Thanks for the ideas. If I wanted to do it “in place” would you go the same way? I had done some tapping prior to my post. It seems like it will take some reefing to get out. Thanks again!!

Need some advice. I have a solid dowel pin retaining my lock plate. Has anyone been down this road? I am working my way down to the ignition switch. Is is better to try to find / fabricate a miller c4113 tool or try to tap it out with a hammer and punch? Is there something close to the c4113 you...
