    1971 Cuda Convertible Photo

Could be. It was a 4 speed car if my memory serves me right. Isn't that collection in Oregon? The one that went through Mecum in Seattle in 2014 did not have the driver's side sport mirror like this one does. Of course, mirrors could have been changed and the car updated to what the build sheet...

    1971 Cuda Convertible Photo

I was looking through some old photos I have. I came across this photo I took of a 71 Hemi Cuda convertible about 1989 or 1990 at PIR in Portland Oregon. If I remember correctly, the owner purchased it for about $40K which was big money then. B5 blue with a blue interior. I never saw the car...

If the Cuda is similar. There's also the metal bracket as seen in my photo. Someone may have a photo of this area on a Cuda door panel. Terry W.

You need the door pull cup and armrest pad. The photo shows what this pull cup, bracket and screws look like on the back of a Challenger door panel. The two large holes have a Phillips head screw that holds the pull cup area of the door panel to the door itself. Terry W.

has anyone tried restoring their dash pads?

Thank you very much. With the finished pad, does the surface feel somewhat flexible like the original new pads did? Can you press in on it with your finger and it's not so hard that you have to fear it will crack? Do you think it will allow some expansion from heat and contraction from cold...

has anyone tried restoring their dash pads?

40 hours is a good time for figuring out a repair process that you are pleased with. Really a great job. Thank you. If you get a chance, can you post a photo of the cans of product you used. I see the company offers several products. Terry W.

has anyone tried restoring their dash pads?

It really turned out great. It looks like you left the original vinyl on around the VIN tag, the Challenger Script plate, around the defrost duct openings, and on the pad ends. You spread the flexible epoxy filler over the original foam. Sand smooth to shape. Then, the truck bed liner sprayed on...

WIW 1970 Non A/C heater box

Mostly cosmetic. I'd guess 60% of the originals have suffered from cracks and breaks. My guess with everything you should be able to get $250 . Just a guess. Shipping could be a deal killer. Here's a photo of what the opening lip should look like. Terry W.

    Restoration losing steam, getting frustrated.

It is a money and time-consuming hobby. I just finished a 17 year redo on my 74 Charger Rallye. It was very frustrating trying to find parts for it. I ended up having to restore many of the parts I had. My grandson started helping me when he was 14 years old in 2020. It was sometimes boring work...

    71 Challenger Assembly starts

I was looking at your photos in post #44. You may want to black out the color portions you see behind the grille. You can see how mine is done in post #45. Something to think about. The car looks great. Terry W.

    72 Challenger Rebuild

I've been working on prepping a 70 R/T hood for the car that I got for free. It has some dents and dings. I also have a converted shaker hood from a flat hood that I'm considering prepping for this car also. My grandson thinks we should go with the shaker hood. I'm considering just painting both...
