I need the ones that fit the 0.354 holes. It will be an aftermarket master. So not concerned with resto-perfect.

    Press Fit Studs for Master?

Looking for a temporary solution that has lead to a bigger question. Masters come with 4 holes. The one I took off has 4 press fit studs. Raybestos list a hole size of 0.354", and McMaster list 5/16 studs needing a 0.311 hole a difference of more than 0.040. Raybestos was no help. What are...

Front Brake Backing Plate Seal/Gasket ... not plate to spindle

I'm replying to my own thread to add some more pictures. Some of these were found on the web, the ones with primer are mine. Looks like there was white foam gasket pressed in on the top of opening, but I don't see any on the lower part. I kinda tapped on this with a painters tool to see if I...

Dad said, "Do you know why we chose the Challenger?"

I'll work on the pictures. Back in the day pics are in Oklahoma. They will come back with us our next trip up. Yes, 383 Magnum, Torqueflite with Slapstick, bucket seats, console, A/C, PS, and 11x3 drums all around (no vacuum assist). Maybe "starter" pics will inspire others to get going on theirs.

It's gonna be a while before she is ready to have her picture taken, but thank you for asking.

Dad said, "Do you know why we chose the Challenger?"

Mom and Dad have been gone a while, but I cherish this conversation. In 1970, Mom and Dad purchased a 1970 Challenger R/T, B5 Blue with a White vinyl top. Dad never told this story without including "... drove it off the showroom floor." I had heard that story many times, but in his later years...

Front Brake Backing Plate Seal/Gasket ... not plate to spindle

Restoring the backing plate on 11" Front drums. Need help with this seal/gasket. On the pad side there is what looks to be a metal seal, and maybe foam pressed between this seal housing and the plate. I'm thinking the inner bearing seal would contact this? This is not the gasket that goes...
