Speedo stuck at 65 MPH without cable connected???? Does move past when the cable is spun

You nailed it...it shifted then I effed it up. So I bought a new Speedo. And I was able to replace it all by dropping the column and pulling the front of the dash off....

OK is that also the case for the non Rally set up? I have to remove the clear plastic cover and the 2 bolts around the Speedo cable input?

Speedo stuck at 65 MPH without cable connected???? Does move past when the cable is spun

If I remove the bolts that hold the cable end of the Speedo - wil that allow the back to come off?

Speedo stuck at 65 MPH without cable connected???? Does move past when the cable is spun

Hi gang - Just put the dash in and noticed the Speedo won't zero out - stuck at 65 MPH. When I spin the cable one way it will move past towards 70, etc....but when I spin the cable the other way it sounds like it's hitting a "stop." Any suggestions on root cause? Dreading taking the dash back...

Ok so I wired it like above and my right and lefts were crossed up. Flashers were fine. So here is the final arrangement which I will share with AAW peeps as they did get back to me: Aftermarket Switch Pigtail AAW Colors Stop Lamps White White LF Turn Signal Green Dark Blue...
