402 oil pan gash

Looking it over and found a little gash in it , not sure if there will be an issue on sealing , plus a couple corners a very slightly uneven but probably ok .

I think it will be OK. Especially if you use some RTV when assembling the gasket.

Pan side only , plus Im using a Melodon crush proof gasket , or maybe something better ?

That will seal fine.
I've installed pans that had 30 of those marks. Beat to death, but still came back to life.

So I put rtv on the pan side only correct .
