Has anyone ever built a garage and a year later wishing you had built it smaller? My guess is NO - NEVER!

I have a 3 car garage, would have built it bigger but Town limits how big you can build.

Welcome FEBO! Working in a confined space takes a lot of patience, planing and practice. Been there done that. Didn't forget! Now have 30 x 40 still not big enough. 2 garages still loose stuff. My brother runs out of space he builds an other. He's up to 4.Last we built a 24x40 shed.
The house and 30'x 100' garage and work shop, I would guess. in the back round my brother want's to buy. That is when it comes up for sale.

This is the 24x 40 shed we built. Under 1000 sq' permit. This is when it is about complete about 5 years ago.

He built a 15x30 lean to garage on the back of one30x30 and a 24x24. Finished the lean to just before hunting season 2024. I didn't help! I got out of that one. He didn't put a concrete floor in so he didn't need me. When he built on to his house. He built a 28x28 with an office above. I didn't help! I got out of that one. He didn't put a concrete floor in so he didn't need me.

Just got the new house plans. Just have to run it by the spouse or ex spouse? When I posted this the first time. Take notice there are no dimensions posted.

I could never afford to go bigger, so I had to go up.

Mine was limited in height by property line. Would have liked to have gone tall enough for a lift, but wanted existing driveway to continue into garage. Had to stick with 8ft interior height.

I'm in the process of preparing to build a 40x60 building because a two car barn with three carports and three car garage just isn't enough! Sigh!

Remember, build a place for retirement that has every thing you need and want so you don't need to go anywhere!
