I am wondering if anyone could help me locate a Miller C-4113 tool for removing the retaining pin that holds the steering wheel locking ring in place. All leads and help is appreciated. FYI I tried a punch already and it's a solid pin not a roll pin. Thanks.

Need some advice.
I have a solid dowel pin retaining my lock plate. Has anyone been down this road? I am working my way down to the ignition switch. Is is better to try to find / fabricate a miller c4113 tool or try to tap it out with a hammer and punch? Is there something close to the c4113 you can buy? Thanks for your advice / guidance.

Do you see how the shaft is out in #3. If you take shaft out. It can be knocked through with a drift pin on a solid surface. Don't use a tapped drift pin.

Thanks for the ideas.
If I wanted to do it “in place” would you go the same way? I had done some tapping prior to my post. It seems like it will take some reefing to get out. Thanks again!!

You might be able to. As long as you hold something solid to strike against. Three hands to hold everything?
