Question has anyone had issues with a gunslinger shifter locking up on an automatic transmission. It came with the car and I noticed it catches and locks up when trying to shift out of Park into gear. Having to keep trying to get it to unlock and it finally does and when it does it jerks hard. New transmission and converter. I looked at the shifter and it seems to stick because of the spring, when I take the spring off it shifts fine. Any ideas?

Welcome to the site. Just from what you described, I’d have to look at bushings and adjustment. I have zero experience with that shifter. Any pics?
