I've been on here for quite awhile now and can't help but notice a lack of mention on this subject in your restoration threads.
Why is that?
Are you guys concerned more with using "factory" finishes or just don't know much about it?
I would like to help, and perhaps eventually see more of...
They have oiling areas at the rivets (look for small holes in the recesses around them). Sometimes you'll need to pound the "ears" flat where it mounts. Overall they're pretty simple.
Same here, the only Mopar people in town.
It's kind of pretty here but I miss civilization and intelligence; some of these locals couldn't pour piss out of a boot if the instructions were embossed on the heel.
I am a Mopar parts restoration and custom one-off specialist. I helped pioneer my industry in the 90s with the most distinctive multi-color custom powder coating work you have ever seen! A few selected work samples are shown here. For more information, to see hundreds more work samples, check...

Actually Chryco, I've learned over the weekend (from the vast number of replies to my identical post on the sister sites) that there are several, some by model year and others referred to as the "alt" colors with a lettered prefix as you mentioned. There are also slight variances in the color...
Keep it coming guys!!! Every bit of research and input is helpful and important to the end result here. Once I'm able to nail down a "base B5" color, I can doctor up my mix a bit to tailor it to each individual ride if I have a sample to work from.
I really appreciate all the comments and...
