Want to buy a 1970 Challenger trunk lid at a reasonable price. I don't care about the paint, if metal, must be straight. If fiberglass, must be free of cracks, typical stress issues and be in good order where mounting/attachment points are.

Does anyone know what the curb weight is for a 340 Challenger T/A with automatic (727) trans is? I am not running the six pack. I found this for a base 340-4v:

States that its 3252lbs
Thanks in advance for any input.

It gets relatively hot in the summer where you live, so I would tend to lean towards the 26" since you're adding AC. The Challenger has a very small/narrow grill opening which adds to the problem. Bigger is better in this case and for your application.

Did you find your fourth driver yet?
I have some experience, here is my car "Track Mistress" at an HPDE in NJ in April of this year:
Here is a picture from last year. Yes, it's my daily driver. I tweaked the suspension and built a cold air hood for it.
I have a Challenger T/A Clone (no six pack) 340-4V that runs an Edelbrock Dual Plane Manifold, Chrysler Issue with Chrysler Part No., the car should be finished by the end summer of 2013. Stripes be previous owner are not correct. I will be sending the car out for removal of "GO WING"...
