74 challenger is spot on, The way to take the tires out of the equation is to measure from the center of the hub to wheel well lip. Sooo, if you get a chance can you post that for us. Looks great, nice that you found a painter to help
That's the photo that says it all.
The transmission cross-member is the same.(I think the same for 727 and 904 trans)
Driveshaft is the correct length if you have a 727 Auto trans, not the 904. This is assuming your installing an A 833.

Great progress. I thought the hotchkis springs would lower It more than your picture shows. Are your tires 15 inch or 14? Could you measure from the floor to the wheel well and post those numbers? No one seems to have any rear ride height numbers.
I just did mine, 1974, the frame should have a locating slot for the bracket. The bracket should have a tab that fits in the slot. You may need to file the tab square so it fits better. This locates it properly. Look down at the frame rail below the brake booster and you should see it. The...
