    US Car Tool question

Thanks for the link challenger6pak. It appears the guys at USCT have their mess together. I have looked into an AMD installation center several months ago as moparleo suggested and I believe the closest is in Georgia, in the 10 hour away range. Still not out of the question to use them as it...

    US Car Tool question

Just curious about anyone's experience with the folks at US Car Tool. I have not contacted them yet, but plan on it soon. I have a 70 Gran Coupe Barracuda that is in need of much sheet metal/rust repair & i am not in a position to do it myself, from a time and skills perspective. I have seen...

70 cuda power brakes are too sensitive

Many years ago I swapped the brake booster from my wrecked 'cuda, to my non power, drum brake barracuda. I didn't pay good attention to the proportioning valves & may have gotten them mixed up. The wrecked car was power disc brake. I didn't swap the drums to discs. Very touchy to say the least...

Thanks for the link. Just took a quick read through it. Now I have visions of a show quality job. Getting some more ideas for under the hood now.

    Painting an engine

Just curious on peoples experience in painting/detailing an engine. Planning to clean mine up & put a nice new coat on it soon. currently the paint appears pretty thick in some areas from prior attempts. some areas are flaking & chipping off. Once I get it cleaned & de-greased, what would be my...

    Hello from Wilmington NC

This is the current project. Pic taken 1993 I think. Looks pretty much the same. A bit more faded & rusty now, but fun none-the-less.... Was fast by early 90's standards. pretty much back of the pack now as I haven't really changed much. Engine in the garage now, front end sheetmetal on the...

This ones after the last wreck in 1991. Rear ended (obviously eh?). aprox 45mph hit. The guy never hit his brake.

    Subframe connectors

Thanks for the input. Seeing as how I plan on installing a cage sometime in the next year or so, I'm leaning toward the 2x3 run through the floorpan. Not too worried over the intrusion into the rear floor since the back seat has been sat in maybe 3 times in 20 years. Really looking forward to...

    Hughes Engines

Thanks for the input everyone. I know one local guy that seems to like them. I did buy their adjustable roller rockers a few years ago. Seems to be a pretty good part. The valley pan they sold me is junk though. Thought it would dress things up. Nothing but a oil leak waiting to happen. Couldn't...

    Hughes Engines

Anybody have experience with the folks at Hughes Engines? They have some pretty impressive claims on their website, but that pretty much applies to every shop/supplier. I haven't settled on a big inch, big hp crate engine from somebody, or building my own with the spare block I keep in the...

    Subframe connectors

Looking to install subframe connectors in a 70 Barracuda. What are the pro's/cons of the subframe connectors offered by shops like US Car tool, where the connectors are cut to fit the bottom of the floor pan, vs cutting into the floorpan & fabbing up/welding in a square tube section? Car isn't...

    Hello from Wilmington NC

Hello everyone. Looks like i'm the new guy now. Pretty surprised I haven't found or been introduced to this forum until now. I've looked around a few times in the past & come up empty when trying to find useful Mopar forums. I found yours yesterday & trolled around a bit, finding some pretty...
