My build is close to yours and I had the same problem. If you install this Ford electric fan RNB-620-104 from Summit you will be good. This fan setup moves 2500-3000 cfm of air. I took me 3 months to work out this issue. TTI Ceremic coated headers help too. The problem with the stock fans...
On my 1973 Challenger, I went with the 400/512 stroker with trick flow 240 heads. It made around 580hp at the wheel on the dyno. I removed the 3.91 and installed 3.23 for drivability. Running a 3 speed trans by A&A.
Went to the dyno today! This shop had a Mustang Dyno. Not sure why it made more torque than horsepower. The AF ran around 12.5-14. I was running 38 degrees of timing. I added new tti step headers and 3" exhaust since the last dyno. I guys at the shop think that my converter is killing the...
Before number 6 wasn't firing. I also installed new tti headers and exhaust. (2'-1/8" step headers and 3 exhaust). Got a better tune setup. I'll let you guys know how it goes.
Hey Guys! I thinking about having Wilson Manifold port my Trick Flow intake and add nitrous bungs. Have any of you guys had one done? What kind of horsepower gains did you see?
Thanks
I posted my engine dyno sheet in our forum. It made 665hp at 5800 and 691tq at 4500. Put the car on the dyno with full trim and it only made 480hp at 5800. That's a massive lost guys! 400/512 stroker with trickflow 240 heads 10.5cr.
Didn’t have much body work to do. Clear coat needs to be touched up a little. I will be out $5k when all is done including materials. Most shops are going to want 10k-15k these days.
Check to make sure your voltage regulator is putting out 14 volts. I purchased a few stock ones that didn't. So I installed an adjustable voltage regulator and was able to set it to the correct voltage.
