Does anyone know the size and tread count on the stem for the reset knob. This is for the reset knob on the clock in the standard dash cluster.
I know parts are available from different suppliers. The problem is the final price. Cost of item + exchange rate + shipping and duties and broker fees...
I was just trying to narrow down the spline count with out tearing the old one apart first. The yoke is worn on the inside from the snap rings and the 1/2 round where the u joint cup sits is worn egg shaped. Found lots of yokes on the internet with the 072640, but then the two digits preceding...
Wondering what the 2 digit number preceding the 072640, in my case 49 means as i see different numbers before 072640 when searching for a new yoke.
Is the 072640 always a 10 spline yoke?
Info is very hard to come by.

Looking for a parts breakdown for the standard clock. I have the clock with the 90 degree angle gears on the back, the larger steel tube that is about 1/2 inch dia. by 2 inches long. A shaft with multiple diameters on it, not sure if one is broken off ? And what knob is correct for a 71. Just...
This sounds about right. If you are taking the car to a new shop, they have no idea what the previous shop has done. Stripping the car to bare metal and starting over is the way to go. No one will warranty work that another shop has previously done. If they will take your car and move on.
Has any members ever seen or remember a Bug Screen for the front of a 71 Barracuda . Trying to keep the flying insects out of that grill. LOL
I can remember someone made bug screens that attached to the bumper only not touching the rest of the car, maybe had a wire frame made into them.
