That’s interesting because I personally took those off a two owner se that had a dash fire years ago that a good friend of mine owns. Those clips on the left are what I removed from the corners. Maybe @plymouthbelvy can chime in and tell us what he used to put his finish panel on last week.

I had the same problem with my console , after messing with it for several hours try to get it to fit right I came to the conclusion that door it was warped on the hinge side , bought a repop, problem solved! It’s still not absolutely perfect but it’s a hell of a lot better than it was .

It was the other way around , 1970 383 with 335 HP with auto used Holley carbs. The blue 330 HP engine with an automatic used carter carbs.
