Your ride looks to be in great shape!
Still retains it's V5x and looks like the pin stripping around it is in great shape as well. Very often both of these items are gone from these cars.
Curious, has it had one repaint? I don't see a pentastar on the passengers fender is why I ask, and...
Howdy and welcome from Colorado.
I see FK5 body paint.
The top appears to be painted. Is this a V02 car with an X9 top color?
What color is the interior? Would love to decode the fender tag.
Did your barn find come with any of the original paperwork?
Broadcast sheet, window sticker...
@rklein71
Fender tag question is a pandora's box.
The question goes even deeper than just the fender tag and works it's way into all the documentation of each individual car.
Specifically about the more valuable codes that can make a standard car worth more with it's tag present but lose...
Also, I need to add that FENDER TAGS do not carry the M51/M52 code. The first way to tell if the car is a true sunroof car is the VON (second line from bottom, Last set of number/letter combinations on right, above serial number) is to look at the fender tag von number and if it begins with a...
Since I'm showing a few pictures of the V21 cars I must mention that the grills would all be painted body color on the V21 cars. Some examples have argent grills though. Anyone have docs that show both colored grills available on V21's?
That leads us into the key colored grills on the 72-74...
If anyone has any information (tags, Broadcast sheet, window report)
on any sunroof cars that are not 1972 I would very much enjoy decoding and learning about the car.
I too would love to own one of the 74 360 D21 cars. Awesome combo!
And the 360 D21 combo in 74, one of the best small block combos available on the barracuda's.
Let's not forget that in 1972, the barracuda could come with a sunroof.
I've been searching for a 72 with the sunroof for years .
To...
Ahhh, Youth.
At least you can drive your clone like a maniac and know that you are much safer than you were when you were young. Great feeling.
Your ride is awesome by the way.
At least you got to drive it some!
Great memories I'm sure!
Hope I find a BS 71 someday. Even with rotted from frame rails. fixable these days.
Thanks for sharing!
BEAUTIFUL CAR !!
I've read stories and seen the same pictures of the car for years.
Glad it has been restored.
Was the car purchased and imported back to America?
Picture of the fender tag?
Any other info?
Any pictures of the heater delete parts? (always looking)
Or a restoration...
