Need Photos of Installed Factory Clutch Pedal Safety Switch Bracket & Switch (Trigger for NEUTRAL Relay)

Looking for some photos of the clutch pedal safety switch and bracket. I am nearing completion on an automatic-to-TKX 5-speed conversion and will be using an aftermarket switch ($7 Hyundai switch pictured). I will have to fabricate a bracket but want to see how the factory clutch switch/bracket...

Anyone have info on the history of BS23R0B242265? It is up for sale at Mecum Glendale 2025 in a few more weeks. The car presents as a very nice restoration but was changed from Automatic to a 4-speed at some point well before this sale. Photos in Documentation section include the Window Sticker...

Doris Day FC7 1971 Challenger Convertible with Purple Seats?

Anyone know details on this 1971 Challenger convertible used in The Doris Day Show? It appears to have purple seats and door panels. There are other Mopars in the video but the link is directly to the 71 convertible in question. Mentioned on IMCDb.org as well.

Dash Glovebox Knob - Chrome (Turn knob vs keyed lock knob)

Console cars (option C16) have a console glovebox with a keyed lock. Did all Barracudas/Challengers with a console just get the chrome turn knob? Did non-console E-Bodies come with a keyed lock on the dash glovebox or just the chrome turn knob?

Upgrade to Braided Stainless Braided Front (2x) & Rear (1x) Brake Lines

Looking for member thoughts on replacing 25 year old brake lines. Both the front and rear flexible rubber brake lines were replaced during my restoration in 2000. I am considering replacing the rubber lines with braided stainless braided front lines from Inline Tube and replacing the single rear...

Considering a Console Glovebox Light Using Factory Auto Shifter Light (part of 5-speed conversion)

I am converting from Auto to a TKX 5-Speed and am considering using the factory Auto shifter's gear indicator light as a glovebox light. Maybe a mercury switch would work for turning it on and off. Obviously, it would only work when the headlights/parking lights were on unless I change the...

WTB Front Console Bracket for 4-Speed (auto-to-manual conversion project)

My auto-to-manual conversion is mostly complete. 4-Speed tunnel metal from AMD is installed and TKX 5-speed is in place with shifter in place. I need an original front console bracket for a manual or I will have to fabricate one. AMD sells a set with the front and the rear but I do not need the...

A "What If" Magazine Ad for 1970 Barracuda/Cuda with a Hurst Pistol Grip

I created this "what if" full-page magazine advertisement from a variety of original Plymouth and Hurst advertisements. Thought others might enjoy it and be able to print for framed garage art.

Questions on Pistol Grip Shifter Boot, Galvanized Ring, and Stainless Trim Bezel

I am still working on my auto-to-manual conversion (Tremec TKX 5-Speed) and have questions on where the galvanized trim ring with 8 screw holes goes. Does it go above the rubber boot to sandwich it to the transmission tunnel like the pictures below and use only the screw holes not used by the...

Need Details on Fitment: TTI 440 Headers with Borgeson Power Steering Box

I am looking for pictures and details on 70 Cuda fitment for the TTI 1-7/8" 440 headers when using a Borgeson power steering box (Berman Auto Craft kit). TTI does not guarantee fitment with the Borgeson and neither does Bergman but my Internet research is sketchy and says "tight fit" or...

Hurst Pistol Grip Shifter Lense Replacement - How To

Series of pictures showing the replacement of the Hurst Pistol Grip Shifter Lense. I am upgrading to a TKX 5-Speed and needed to change the lense shift pattern. This requires destroying the original lense by drilling a hole near the center. The chrome top bezel is very susceptible to damage if...

Clean Black Console, Paint it with SEM Color Coat Process, or BOTH?

My 70 black console is original and has a very, faint appearance of what appears to possibly be dark red primer overspray. The console lid is much better. Pictures show the problem pretty well. Nobody has ever commented on it but I see it so I want to make it look the best it can. I searched...

1970 Cuda Clone at Mecum Summer Special 2024

Mecum 1970 HemiCuda Clone at Kissimmee 2024 A lot of work and $ went into this 1970 Cuda clone. Original 225 CID Barracuda BH23C0B123763 conversion. The driver side mirror kills it for me. A door repaint is needed to fix that major mistake. A crying shame.

440 Water Pump Pulley/Crankshaft Pulley Sizing to Overdrive Water Pump

I am looking at options to overdrive my 440 water pump. My existing pulley setup is the March Serpentine Kit 40550-8 in black powdercoat. This kit has been on my 440 for over 20 years. No cooling issues except in Florida. Go figure. My idling temp creeps upwards to 210°F with a 195°F thermostat...

4-Speed Tunnel Hump: Fully Welded or Spot Welded from Factory?

Anyone have photos of their factory 4-Speed tunnel hump welds without sealer? I am debating tack-welding <EDIT> in a manual hump or using panel-bond adhesive but want to know exactly what the factory did.
