Windage Tray on 340 - Use the original or go with new Milodon windage tray with new larger Milodon oil pan? Is there a difference?
I just went through that with my 340 stroker build, I used the ARP stud kit and two that the windage tray attaches to I actually removed some of the threads from the block #4 bearing location and bottom tapped the holes. Factory windage tray with Milodon Road race pan
I'm running that same pan on my 340 stroker, with arp main studs my stock 340 windage tray wouldn't work so I used milodons windage tray which should have gone all the way to the front of the engine in my opinion. I did set the stock 340 windage tray on while the studs were out and it should...- LS1K5
