    440 steel or cast crank?

    You don'treally need to have a steel crank unless you plan on a mega horsepower application . I've run a cast crank for 15 years in my 383 , and it still does 10's like clockwork with 420 horses . Most of the newer 440's were cast cranks ( smog years ) anyway . But they should work fine .

    Haven't started it yet . wanted to get an idea before I even opened it . Here is my last ones . They started out as a Superbird and 69 Super Bee . Demoted the Bee to Coronet Deluxe .

    :confused:Hi . I am building a Challenger convertible model and I need help . I want to try to come up with some pictures from derelict or abandoned cars out there . I'm building one to look like its been forgotten in the "back 40 " . Any help would be greatly appreciated . Thank you . :confused:
