After a quick front end "spring check-up/service", it turns out that my beloved 1970 Barracuda with disc brakes, needs at least one new outher bearing!
I thought of doing the whole front bearing wise, in one go.. (inner / outer, and seals).. BUT, it would be a tremendous advantage, to "order...
To be honest.. I only had time to clear enough free floor space, to roll in the 70' and jack it up on a floor jack, but will definitely check the trans when I get the lift free.. but I did get pictures.. will post ASAP.. :-)
Finally got the garage cleared, and got the Barracuda in the air, scraped of some flaky paint that was camouflaging the stamp, and was thrilled to confirm, that the car still have it´s original engine..!

Thank you Lee.. Interesting with the blue tag.. Is anything stamped on those riveted tags? I don't recall seeing any, but might very well havd looked in the wrong spot on the block..! I work so much, that I forget a lot of things, but will get pictures when it stops raining every day, all day...

I got my hands on a lovely 1971 conv Barracuda project - original born as a 383 Auto FE5 car, with black top.. and is still FE5 now, but the project came with a new WHITE top... (and white glass back window), from "KEE Auto top", and it looks like it's really good quality...
Will send PM, and ask for payment info.. ;-) And writing the guy I bought the other hood from, to ask for information on what company he used for "land freight", as it was both it was cheap and fast!
