    Flex plate

Hi guys. I searched 10 pages and couldn't my answer...to a very simple question at that!😖 Stock flex plate on a 318. I wasn't the one that removed it so I never got to see which way it went. Does the "dished" face go towards the crank or the torque converter? I know...not mentally taxing for you...

FOR SALE '73 Challenger parts & BB manifolds for sale on the cheap (I think)

I tried to edit but I could only do the subject line. Wouldn't let me get into the body of the narrative. 🤷‍♂️

FOR SALE '73 Challenger parts & BB manifolds for sale on the cheap (I think)

Bought a package deal and got stuff I don't need or already have. I'm not trying to make money but don't want to see these go to waste if somebody can use them. If they don't sell I'll keep them on the shelf until I see someone on the forum looking for them. Except for the BB manifolds...

    FOUND Oil filter angle adapter

I talked to them a few weeks ago. They still have gaskets AND the banjo bolts in stock. The guy I spoke with said they will never have the adapters again but they won't throw away the gaskets or bolts...available as long as their stock holds out.

    FOUND Oil filter angle adapter

Looking for an oil filter 90 degree adapter for SB. Found a couple on here but they had been sold and not removed. Or is there a relocation kit that would fit inside headers?

    Dust seal?

Thanks guys. I think I'll consider it "extra parts" and move on to the next thing I don't understand.

FOUND 318 headers for '73 Challenger

Needing headers for a 318 '73 Challenger. Don't need to be pretty just functional.

    Dust seal?

Finally back on the 318. This was in a gasket kit. Felt and thin "ring". Nothing like it on the engine when I disassembled it. I'm assuming it goes between the balancer and timing cover?

    Push rods

Wow you guys supplied way too much information for my old mind! Thank you! This is my first Mopar and the more I learn about them the more I like them! My older brother and I had a discussion a couple weeks ago and both agree we wish we would've gotten into Mopars in the '70s instead of GM...

    Push rods

Just a quick one here...were the 318s using non-oiling pushrods back in the day?

    Run Stand

I built an engine run stand to run my 383 since I'm not going to put it in my Challenger...I'll use it somewhere else down the line. This is my first Dodge build and from what I can tell I will have to use the 727 or a 4 speed bell housing and flywheel to start it. Am I correct or is there...
