Hello!
Thank you for your comment!
In my case, the rear was raised by the leaf spring, and even when it was on the ground, the length of the shock absorber was about 1/4 short.
So it feels like the rear is only supported by the force of the leaf spring!
Hello!
Thanks for the information!
I also looked at the Mr Gasket website, but it seems to be out of production.
Also, it seems to be produced by a different manufacturer, not just Mr Gasket.

Hello!
Thank you for your comment.
My car has the rear raised, but I also like low-riding cars!
A Challenger I know had its ride height lowered with air suspension!
Hello!
Thank you for your advice!
It seems like this shock absorber is long enough!
After doing some research, I found that KG5413 also seems to be a suitable part number!
Hello!
Thank you for your kind information!
Currently, the shock absorber is not long enough, so it is attached to the vehicle in a stretched state, which puts strain on the leaf spring!
Hello!
Thank you for your kind information!
Even if I search for the 70 Challenger on Summit Racing, there aren't many types of rear shock absorbers.
Do you fit Challengers for trucks as well?
Hello!
Thank you for your kind information!
So there are such things as shock absorber extensions.
If they exist, my current brand new shock absorbers wouldn't go to waste, but after looking around, it seems there aren't any for Mopar.
If you have any other information, I'd appreciate it.
Hello!
I have a question about the rear shock absorber.
I bought the KYB KG5512 to replace the shock absorber, but the mounting holes don't fit.
Even when I remove the shock absorber and take the car off the lift and put it on the ground, the mounting holes don't reach the body.
I don't have...
Thank you for looking into it!
If I want to use ECS, I have to replace the tank itself with a special one.
I think I'll just have to use the nipple from the fuel filler port and run a pipe through the frame to let the steam escape.
Thank you for your kind advice!
Hello!
Thanks for the advice!
The vent tube in this photo was not originally connected, and the fuel tank also had two tubes.
I looked at photos of the fuel tube area of various Challengers, and it seems that the vent tube is indeed used to release evaporative gases.
As advised, the fuel cap has...
Thanks for the advice!
The original fuel tank had two nipples instead of four.
So there was nothing connected to the vent tube from the beginning.
I have one more question: what is the fuel ECS system?
Hello!
I'm about to weld a trunk extension to my car, and I'm thinking of sealing the hole in the fuel gas vent tube with welding.
Before the restoration, the vent tube was installed, but the hose was not connected to anything.
It is supposed to be connected to a hose rather than a branch of the...

Hello!
Thanks for your advice.
I was surprised to find people like this outside of shops and parts manufacturers!
We have a shop in Japan, but we have a very limited stock of parts and information, so it's very difficult.
I still need a lot of different parts, so I'll use your advice as...
Hello!
Thanks for the advice.
There are so many different parts manufacturers!
Even for the same Mopar parts, there are so many different manufacturers, so it's really hard to choose.
That was helpful.
