Standard Gauge Cluster Ammeter to Volt Meter conversion video

Wrapped up the installation of the voltmeter in the gauge cluster today. Verified with a multimeter (Ω) that the posts were isolated from the gauge housing. It would have been okay if the NEG side post (toward the 8 Volt side of the scale) was grounded since that needs to be grounded anyway...

Need Details on Fitment: TTI 440 Headers with Borgeson Power Steering Box

TTI 440-178C4 headers arrived on 11/29/2024. Barely over a week after the order. This project includes an Auto-to-TKX 5-Speed conversion, Borgeson PS box, and a rear gear swap to 3.91's so it will be bit before the headers are installed. More pics later...

Standard Gauge Cluster Ammeter to Volt Meter conversion video

I am in the ammeter-to-voltmeter conversion process now on a Rallye cluster (Cuda) along with a solid-state Instrument Voltage Regulator (IVR) from Real-Time-Engineering. I also used the SunPro CP7985 Voltmeter. Cut down the aluminum face and relocated it upward which requires cutting the area...

What soze alternator fuel injection system

You should consider a 100-Amp alternator. Powermaster makes factory-appearing alternators that should work. Mopar Connection Magazine did an article on upgrading the alternator. Note that the factory wiring is not rated for 100-Amps. The below is a Powermaster chart that lists accessories and...

    Fender tag

What are your specific questions? Any items that you think are ambiguous or uncertain of? The tag has all indications of being the original tag and not a reproduction tag. I have images of Challenger other fender tags from September 1970 (1971 Model Year) and many of the misalignment issues on...

Standard Gauge Cluster Ammeter to Volt Meter conversion video

Now we need the same conversion for the Rallye Instrument Cluster. There is a thread showing pictures using the SunPro CP7985 voltmeter gauge modified to fit. I added another picture showing a similar conversion of same mod. Requires blacking out area behind faces to hide potmetal silver finish.

    Rear Seal Leak

@Whordell Is THIS the correct retainer and seal from Fast Fish? Fast Fish's info is a bit confusing. At first, I thought it was a one-piece rear main seal which would require removing the crank but it actually says, "This retainer and seal is a popular seller. This retainer and seal package is...

    Radial TA Tires

And then there is the browning issue with Radial T/As. Annoying, to say the least. I still run them just because we are limited on solid white letter tires in 14" and 15". Cooper Cobras, Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/Ts, and BF Goodrich Radial T/As are about the only economical tires out there...

Need Details on Fitment: TTI 440 Headers with Borgeson Power Steering Box

I will report back when the TTI 440-178C4 headers arrive and are installed. There is a 6-week delay since I ordered the O2 sensor bungs in both header collectors. That requires TTI to add the bungs and send them out for ceramic coating. Thank you for the info and pics. Extremely helpful in...

Need Details on Fitment: TTI 440 Headers with Borgeson Power Steering Box

Thanks for the quick responses. I am already running a ministarter and Hooker SuperComp 2" headers now with factory steering. So is the clearance issue with Cylinder 3 on the Borgeson box? Can you snap a picture of the areas close to the Cylinder 3 & 5 tubes or other clearance areas that are tight?

Need Details on Fitment: TTI 440 Headers with Borgeson Power Steering Box

I am looking for pictures and details on 70 Cuda fitment for the TTI 1-7/8" 440 headers when using a Borgeson power steering box (Berman Auto Craft kit). TTI does not guarantee fitment with the Borgeson and neither does Bergman but my Internet research is sketchy and says "tight fit" or...

Hurst Pistol Grip Shifter Lense Replacement - How To

Series of pictures showing the replacement of the Hurst Pistol Grip Shifter Lense. I am upgrading to a TKX 5-Speed and needed to change the lense shift pattern. This requires destroying the original lense by drilling a hole near the center. The chrome top bezel is very susceptible to damage if...
