Dang, that’s the most I’ve seen in 1 place! No way I’d pay $1,600 for a set though even if I needed them...

Not that outrageous of a price. My friend sold a set of 4 not so great ones on ebay for $1,400. These things are really tough to find these days. I would say $1,200-1,400 is the going rate if you need them. Personally I'd buy the reproduction ones for $99 each.

Expensive rallye's but those early date code wheels might sell if someone needs them for a build with date code correct parts on an early build car!

Even date code correct really wheels are abundant. I know each time I go to a Mopar swap meet, there are always sets of them with rubber for under $500 and thats out here in Cali.

I'll buy every set of original "390" 15x7 Rallye wheels you can find for $500. They are not abundant. You're probably seeing 15x6.5s.

A really nice set of 15 X 7s with original trim rings and centers will fetch $2k with no problem. I remember a set for sale here for a little under that and they lasted less than 24 hours.

Agreed just bought a concours set for $2800 CAD with correct offset tires for my TA which is about $2150 USD and I thought that was a very good deal.

Has anyone called this guy on Facebook? I was thinking of buying 1 extra nos 15” rally in case I ever damage one of mine. The ones on my car now are dated September 1969.

I figured he was going for "OEM", but you know I can't resist a chance to bust onions. :p

Consider my onions busted!
Detmatt is correct: extra OEM wheel
Anyway, thought it was a good idea to have an extra original in case a wheel gets damaged.

Your 340 car had them originally, yes? Some of the factory literature lists E-60-15 as being standard on 340 cudas, but I don't recall on the A66 Challengers.

I got lucky and scored a pair last year for less than retail because the seller thought they had been widened. Nope...real deal!

I was "calendar" lucky with the 15" rallyes because of an October 6th SPD. They were standard on the A66 Challengers along with the collapsible spare until October 20th and then could be added as an option.

Hamtramck - Historical is your friend.
per the '70 Dodge "salesman's pocket guide" 9/23/69 version:

CODE A66
- Challenger 340 CID engine package - $258.90
NA Special Edition (29), NA R/T (JS)
15" Rallye wheels (W21) - required at EXTRA cost
collapsable spare (W34) - required at EXTRA cost
this changed at some point - as the following shows
per the '70 Dodge "dealership data book" no date found
CODE A66 - Challenger 340 CID engine package - includes
340 engine - E55
F70-14 RWL tires - T87
R/T hood
H.D. brakes
H.D. suspension
"bumble bee" stripe
"scat pack" decals
wheel lip mouldings "DELETED"

7/23/69:
The 340 Performance Package (A66) will be available on the hardtop and convertible models in conjunction with the 340 engine in early September. The 340 engine will only be available in combination with the 340 Performance Package.

10/20/69:
Effective immediately, F70x14-inch RWL tires (T87) are standard with the 340 Performance Package. The E60x15-inch tires (U82) will be optional at extra cost. The Collapsible Spare (W34) and Rallye Wheels will no longer be required with the 340 Package. A Rear Spoiler in Dull Black (J81) will be available in early November. Effective immediately, Performance Axle Packages A31 and A36 are available with the 340 Package.

Your 340 car had them originally, yes? Some of the factory literature lists E-60-15 as being standard on 340 cudas, but I don't recall on the A66 Challengers.
