1970 Barracuda Split Bench Seat Question

I have a split bench seat for a 70 Barracuda that is missing the seat backs. There also appears to be no lever/button to fold the seat forward. You can just move it. What am I missing? Is there something that should be holding the seat back in place?

The outer side of each bench seat back should have the same button, latching mechanism and metal hinge cover as bucket seats.
