I am looking to find the bolts that attach the window lift mechanism to the rear holes in the front window glass on both sides and the bolts that attached the lower horizontal track. I think they are numbered 22,23 and 18 and an actual picture of them installed would be great. Thanks! I have the

One more photo from the 71 Barracuda which should be close to a 70 Challenger as they use the same door glass.

Thanks and I will look for bolts as per the first diagram. In the picture above its confusing because the bolts appear to have a long smooth shank and then just a small threaded section at the end and I can find bolts like these so I will need to try the ones that are threaded for the entire length.

Hi guys, these exploded component diagrams are awesome!!

Could someone please advise what manual I could either purchase or look up online which has this type of sub-component detail and "step by step" assembly instructions?

For most of the body and mechanical systems common sense and general mechanical knowledge has been OK, but looking at a pile of parts on the ground not knowing where anything goes, or even if you have all the components to start with, is a real head scratcher so I've been putting off jobs like door mechanisms, side glass and dash :)

Unfortunately, the car was stripped and sandblasted 20 plus years ago with no photos or notes

Thanks in advance

Go to MCC at the below link and buy everything E-Body related. Worth every penny and you won't be disappointed.

Get an electronic (and a hard copy) of your E-Body's Factory Shop Manual. I love a hard copy because it's bigger than my cellphone, and less likely to be knocked over and damaged like my laptop would be by Dinky the barn cat! 😀
