Thanks for the replies. Is that just a regular flat black?

I made a list of some of the black paints others have used on RT grills.
Haven't "tested" them Hope it helps!

- Plasti Kote "Hot Rod Black"
- Eastwood Chassis Black
- Krylon K02520000 Fusion For Plastic Textured Shimmer Spray Paint, 12-ounce,
Black
- SEM Trim Black #39141 (hot rod black)

what color is the grill with the 360 squares? I would also like to know what if anything you can spray and wash to clean it.I do not have the patience to do the tooth brush and sand paper thing.

The "egg crate" area is just natural aluminum, no paint. I've used paint stripper and a water hose to de-gunk a few.

In my files, something I saved for my own future grill clean up of the center section. This is supposed to work really well in cleaning up the egg crate section of a Challenger grill. Have not tried it but was told it works well.

FYI. I have read that the center section of the repro grills egg crate section; metal is a little thinner then originals? Just a thought, it may not matter 2 you. Nothing looks better then shiny new!

I had hoped there was something to just soak in in to clean it. I do not have the time to do the tooth brush and sand paper cleaning. the new one will look better and only cost about 150 more than having the other one fixed anyway.
anyone coming to Ocala Fl for the all Mopar show this weekend?
