FOR SALE - 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A

Numbers matching with Govier documentation, broadcast sheet and fender tags. 62,000 miles. Top Banana with black interior. 4 speed with 3.91 option rear. Sam Posey-signed glove box door. This car retains a very large portion of the parts that it rolled off the assembly line with. Purchased locally and has stayed in the same 15 mile radius of the dealership it was sold from. I am the 4th owner. Much of the “Day 1” type restoration has been completed but there is still plenty to do. Can be finished any way the buyer wants. Comes with everything I have for the car including extra parts. Many parts have been restored but have not yet been installed. No expense has been spared to this point with what I have done to this amazing car. The current situation we are all dealing with has left me jobless and soon to be losing my storage. I’d rather not have to leave it outside in my driveway so I have decided to part with it. Anyone serious about this car can contact me for the detailed list of what has been done and what needs to be done. While my situation, like many others’ sucks, it is temporary and I am not desperate. I would love to see this car get the attention it deserves and since I have not been giving it any lately, I feel it is time for it to get finished by someone who has the resources. I stopped keeping track after $75K invested. I also have done enough restorations to know that you don’t get your investment returned so I will start the conversation at $65K and will consider all reasonable and educated offers. My restoration thread is available to view on this website at: My T/A restoration...

Car is located in Winsted, CT 06098. Thank you FEBO - Mark

Mark, I understand what you are saying, but man I hate to see that happen. I was just wondering the other day why we haven't seen you around here lately. I surely hope your situation turns around in the near future.
You have done everything top notch on your T/A and your A12 RR. They are perfect in every way. And what about the A12?
Come on fellow Mopar friends, does anyone have some storage space to help out a Brother?

These are crazy times; things will improve
You did an exceptional job putting that TA together; really sucks to sell her.
Good luck with the sale

I'm interested in hearing the restoration of this T/A but your inbox is full. You can also email me at mhoffman at hoffcons dot com . I'm very interested to hear what has been done to the sheet metal as far as repairs or replacement. This looks like a great car.

Hope to hear from you soon.

:thumbsup: Chin up. Sell something else that you can replace. Once this is gone....Ask me how I know. I can replace most things, but some things you can't. Sell the tools, parts, toys, whatever but not the car. You put too much of your life into it. Good luck, and stay healthy.

I have a number of regrets of early cars I either let go or even broke up for parts;
My long gone favorite; a 440 6pk Challenger in B7 blue, automatic with a factory shaker, pdb, ps, and dana rear. Even had the rear spoiler from the factory.(mid 1970's) Another was a 1971 Challenger convertible w a factory HP 383 in hemi orange and black 71 style stripe.(late 70's) Just two of my mistakes I made in not keeping them. The list could go on!
Every time I contemplate selling my current A66 convertible in moments of weakness; I remember those earlier cars and I lose the thought of ever selling.
Sometimes life dictates the need to let things go. Just my thoughts.
