Mecum 1970 HemiCuda Clone at Kissimmee 2024

A lot of work and $ went into this 1970 Cuda clone. Original 225 CID Barracuda BH23C0B123763 conversion.

The driver side mirror kills it for me. A door repaint is needed to fix that major mistake. A crying shame.

That chrome mirror does draw too much attention to itself. I agree, painted black would've looked better.

I personally don't give a hoot about fender tags for C and G Barracudas, they are base models and are perfect for making what you want.

The mounting screw spacing is also wrong for a 70 Cuda.
That is exactly the problem. Very hard to correct it. Makes you wonder what they were thinking when they do so well until something as simple as installing a proper 1970 mirror with 3" screw spacing. Even a standard (no G-code mirror) would be better than the wrong mirror base and screw spacing.

Scuff up the mirror, then spray it w/ SEM Self Etching Primer and finally w/ the black of your choice.

I agree in some ways.
Still wish the tag was left with the car when converted to a custom.
Since I am always looking for M46 cars of which came with B's,C's,G's,L's and N's there is a pretty good array of possibilities.
Plus a full on custom would have to be considered by myself if it had the M46 on the tag.
Been looking for a BOB car for years.
