Hi, It was either in this forum or electrical/wiring. When I got my Challenger 9 months ago it had an older aftermarket am/fm radio cassette player in the dash. It originally had an am/fm radio. Would anyone have a an idea of going prices for used originals, for am/fm and am? Radio could be working or non working.

An R35 - AM/FM thumbwheel radio for 1970 E-Body is a rare radio and goes for $750+ in working condition. Non-working radios, when found, can be modernized internally. No repro version exists for the 1970 AM/FM thumbwheel. NOTE: All 1970 and some 1971 AM/FM radios have chrome buttons.

Some replace their missing 1970 radio with a 1971-1974 AM/FM radio. This is the one with both knobs on the left-side. If you find an original 1971 with chrome buttons, it would look slightly more correct than the black buttons found on some 1971 and all 1972-1974 radios. A repro of the 1971-1974 radio with all of the modern electronics is available but may be back-ordered currently.

What would be a fair price for a 1970 E-body AM radio?
