SOLD - I'm assisting a friend selling his 1970 Barracuda Convertible. The current mileage on the vehicle is 34,803. The vehicle has a very solid body. The vehicle had one repaint roughly 20-25 years ago. There is no rust currently showing. The vehicle has been in storage for the last 12-14 years. The vehicle has a newer convertible top. Overall the vehicle is in great condition. The interior is original. As for the powertrain, the vehicle has a matching numbers 318 engine with an automatic transmission (console car). The rear axle is stock (not sure of axle ratio at this time). The vehicle has power steering. The vehicle starts right up and runs well. The vehicle needs very little and would make a great clone prospect, asking $35,000.00/offer.

Why isn't your friend selling it? Would an interested party be able to talk with your friend?

My friend is not that familiar with the various Mopar forums, so I offered to list the ad for him. If you want additional photos send me a PM with your e-mail address and I will send more photos.

There are more than enough of these cars that have been turned into Hemi, shaker hood, Six Barrel, high impact blah blah blah, this one is perfect just the way it is and should be kept that way.

Too many clones

I would support what Matt is saying.
There are too many clones out there. This is a beautiful car just as it is and it would be a shame to make it into a copycat replica of something.
One thought; so many cars are being cloned that original condition cars are becoming more rare.
You have something special that should be kept in original condition. Just my opinion.

Well one could put the tail panel for a 72-74 on the back, A grill set up for the same and you would have a replica of carol brady's barracuda from the brady bunch and it would be 2 of none cars i agree to many clones not enuff original cars like this left any more
