1972 challenger want to put 71 fenders on would it be wise to cut out the head light buckets because the 71 fenders are very nice or should i put a 71 grill on my 72 ???

Welcome to the site. I would introduce yourself in the welcome wagon section. Why do you want the 71 fenders on your 72? Please use punctuation so it is not hard to read your post. Thanks.

If the fenders are nice and you can't find any for a 72 and you like the 72 grille, then do it. Also, iirc, the side marker lights will be different on the 71 fenders too.
