1971 Dodge Challenger E55 rocker Panel Lip paint

I'm trying to get input on whether the lower lip on the Rockers were painted low gloss black from the lowest point to the beginning of the upward roll of the rocker. My car with all original (EV2) but faded paint shows what appears to be an original painted low gloss black at the pinch weld area. Added or Original? I'm in the process of painting and would appreciate some discussion. Thanks
