I was hoping that someone could give me a hand. I need to get the dimensions for placement of The rocker moldings on my 72 cuda. I've seen things listed anywhere from a quarter inch to an inch below the upper edge of the rocker panel. Thanks in advance

It looks like the center of the pin studs are 1/2" down from the top of the rocker. Perspective is a bit off in the photo. The photo of the clip gives you a good estimation as well. These photos are from a 72 'cuda, January 72 build date, LA car.

Thank you for the reply. That should just about put the top of the panel just below the door edge

Well a quick update on The rocker moldings. I talked to the body man and he told me that he measured the studs off of the old one and that they were 1 in down from the top of the rocker.????? So currently I have studs welded 1 inch down on the top of the rocker and we'll have to figure out what I want to do with this.

I was able to dig up some old pictures and unfortunately what my body man did was measure the bottom of the molding clip and weld the studs there instead of measuring half an inch up.
