3 speaker dash grille codes B/L and B/R are there "lefts and rights"?

I pulled a pair of outer speaker grilles with brackets from a donor and both had "B/L" on them. I thought that there should be a B/L and a B/R (left and right)? Are they handed and are the brackets underneath they mount to handed as well?

You are correct. One should be B/L and the other B/R. Don't know how you got 2 B/L covers.
