Hey guys, I picked up this 360 block recently. I was told it was a 73 warranty block by a gentleman who wanted to buy it from me. Is it? Here's the ID pad and casting date

What you need to look at is the pad on the RH side of the block just above the oil pan rail. If there are partial VIN numbers there it is not a warranty block. A blank pad would mean a warranty block.
BTW, welcome to the site from Michigan. Show us what you are working on.

I'll have to check that pad. It looked blank before but it also had some paint on it. I'm working on a b-body, a 1970 coronet sedan. No e-bodies yet! But I figured a 360 from 73 probably could've come from a challenger or cuda likely so I figured I'd post it here
