360 engine $300???

ok found 360 for $300 bored 30 over cranks been turned.cast #on driver side is 4045601-360 pass side 17-77 is it worth the amount and 6 hr drive?engine is missing dis,alt,carb,fuel pump,pullys can i use everything off the 318? thanks

Yes on the parts swap, maybe for the travel time, since the state of the engine is an unknown.

A reasonably priced 360 should be easy to find. I have come by several while looking for a 340. That price is about right for what I have seen. I think that you have to assume some machining and refreshening will be in store. You should be able to have some fun with a 360.
