Hi I just finished an auto to 4 speed conversion. It was an auto on the floor with console so I need to make the front console mount.Would anyone happen to know the dimensions of the front bracket on the transmission tunnel for 4 speed with console. Also need to know the height of it.Thanks

I don't have your answer.....but "They" used to cut out 4 Spd tunnels out of e-bodies, from what I heard back in the day.

I would have thought mopar engineered all of the console stuff to be interchangeable between auto/4spd. (Yours looks very nice, btw)

Thanks for the reply. The console will work from the auto with some trimming to clear the shifter boot but the console bracket at the front is a 4 speed thing. The rear bracket I believe is the same ,auto or 4 speed.

Do you have the bracket or are you making something? Look at the back one's location that will help locate the front one. use the holes console to locate front one.

Thanks for the pic.I’m gonna make the front bracket as I already have the rear bracket from the auto in place.I screwed the console in with rear bracket only and it seems to be correct location.I need the dimensions of the front bracket and how high it sits off the 4 speed hump.I’m just waiting for my template from 521 Restorations so I can trim the auto console to clear the shifter boot. Thanks

Vert 1 3/4" Add an 1/8 th for height sound deadening . 1/8th strong front to back 2 3/8".,for the front bracket. 4 7/8" left to right. So 2" x 2 1/4" x 4 7/8"
You can trim down as you see fit.
