Grew up with Alabama. Pop was a truck driver. Drove for 25 years and 3 million miles.

Song brings a tear to my eye to this day. Momma would hide her worry pretty well, but she'd be on pins and needles until she'd hear the jake popping on and Pop shifting gears, turning the corner onto the road we lived on. The relief in her eyes when she'd see that Freightliner rolling down the hill was pretty evident.
