426 Hemi

I just bught a 426 hemi, and I wonder if its possible to now what car it came from? the numbers on the block is casting 2468330-2, and, stamped VN 426267013576 and also stamped A+. Erik Jansson Sweden

Well the casting # is no help as all Gen 2 hemis used that casting
the Vin makes no sense it should start with the body code such as J for Challenger the the year & then the 6 digit sequence , yours has no letter & 12 digit sequence so it has been restamped

Probably a stamp for whatever shop rebuilt it at one point in its life. We stamp all of our engines with a code here at work.
