I am considering selling my fresh 499 6pk engine. I just built it a few months ago and decided I dont want to pull my 440-6 engine out of my car
72 400 block 230 casting, balanced 440 source crank rods and forged pistons, ported 906 heads with 214/181 valves, new hemi pan, cloyes true dbl roller chain, lunati solid cam like 571/583 lift. 440 source rockers. HV pump.
The engine has never been fired up yet, I did a compression test on it today. Has around 205 lbs cranking pressure. Around 11/1 compression. I dont plan on shipping the engine. The intake is minus the carbs. The valves are set now and ready to run for engine break in. I put a pilot bushing in the crankshaft for a 4 speed. The engine is balanced and has all new bottom end pieces. I am selling the engine lower than cost to unload it. Im in Northern Al. close to cullman
