Does anyone do a aftermarket 4 barrel base for a 6 pak aircleaner

Not that I have seen, but I've always wondered if a 69-71 B body 4bbl Air Grabber base would work.

And you'd have two choices, the B or the RB versions. I have both in my stash if there's any way I can get any measurements off of them I'd be happy to. I also have a six pak base now that I think about it but I'm sure it's also big block.

All good found a cheap re pop lid tigged a ring on fits OK under a TA hood

That is a good idea..I am running an 69 440 airgrabber cleaner on my 73 cuda with an aar hood. The 440 base is I think inch shorter. I have some room to lower this one if need be

I would be sure to use loc tite on the nut that's holding the base to the carb.:cool:

Thanks yeh its drilled for a wire when i put it together still waiting on my block i was checking a small rear main drip & found the main bearings were flaking after 4000 mile (King bearings went back to Clevite had no trouble with them.
