Was going to restore this one, but have found yet another project that I am more interested in, so I figured I would see if I could sell this one. Not giving it away, but this is a SERIOUS PROJECT. More details for those interested, but here are some highlights, #'s matching engine(stuck), fender tag, build sheet, console auto, Burnt orange inside and out with a black top and rump stripe, original and nice 974 radiator. Been gathering parts, doner front clip with nice rails and tors. bar crossmember, doner roof, +++. This car was born with tinted glass, 15" ralleys, chrome tips, no a.c.. Early build, Nov.`69, so no rear sway bar from factory, but one comes with, would have had the no crumple zone hood, which is not included, but I know where there is one. Factory drum brake car, but comes with oem `70 e-body disc set up with 2 piece rotors. Doors are actually decent as far as rust, but drivers door is creased. Non ralley dash with clock!. Trunk lid goes with as well as a nice front bumper w/brackets, oem tailpanel and 26" core support. I will keep and restore this car if I don't get what I want, but I think my price is fair at $7,000.00.
Call 248-343-5301, car is in Detroit area.
Thanks for the ad space FEBO!!!:D

Just disassembled the top half of the engine to see exactly why it was stuck and it turns out the rings on 1 piston were stuck to the cylinder wall and I got it to turn over slightly. Looks like there is no erepairable(is that a word?) damage, in fact you can still see the crosshatch pattern on the cylinders that are exposed and there is no ridge at the top. The car might still be for sale, but I think this thread has just turned into a resto thread.:D:D:D:D:D:D
