Prices really are very high for these cars
desotoman, I'm with you

Pros:

Rare Challenger RT convertible
Looks like most of the drive train, front end and brakes were totally rebuilt
Numbers matching
Stage 3 box is great; is expensive
Mix of valuable original parts come with car
Car drives (excellent according to owner)
Green car w white interior would stand out

Cons:
High purchase price
Frame rail work needed
Wiring problems PIA
Needs paint and body work (expensive)
Interior will need a complete refurbish (tag shows white interior) wonder where the red seats came from?
Convertible top expensive to replace w glass window
Body chrome will take some funds to purchase.

Auction prices and Hagerty estimates seem to max out at about 70K + for a 383 vert (resto mods and certain rare lo- mileage original cars not included)
It would easily take another 30K + to finish it up so you end up with a car near or at it's max value.
I would think 35k would be too high. Unless someone converts the car into something else?
Tough to get into guessing value these days.

Just my thoughts!

I agree.
This is a pass.
And why is it so far back together with what appears to be new sheet metal, and rail work is still needed, really?

I hope it sells for the 35K too.
If it does, it raises the value of all convertible Challengers.
It would be a good deal for someone who has strong body work/welding skills with most of the mechanicals already completed.
It is a real JS convertible which helps the car's value in the long run.
